Manchester Albert Square "The Big Dance"
I have been asked to do a Salsa workshop from 12 - 2 to the general public in Manchester's Albert Square. This is going to be a fab day with hundereds of people getting up and trying to do a bit of Salsa dancing. If anyone wants to volunteer to come and join us for the day and have a bit of fun, please get in touch with me for more info. We will be leaving Carlisle at 08.30 and returning after 2pm. Blackpool Weekender
What a great weekend that was!! Many thanks to everyone that booked through Adora La Salsa, judging by the feedback you all gave me it was a roaring success. I would also like to say a massive thank you to the Rueda Girls (Barbara's Boobettes) OH MY GOD we did it!!!!! Yes we won the team section in the Rueda Competition on Sunday Night. You did great guys, well chuffed!! Thank you to our loyal supporters who helped cheer us along and of course to camera woman Margaret. Tuesday 1st July
A new 4 week Rueda course. What is Rueda de Casino? Also known as Rueda, it started in the 1950's in a club in Havana, Cuba. "Casino" came from the name of the club in which it all started and is the style of dance. It uses the turns and steps you would normally use in Salsa dancing, however Casino Rueda is done in a circle or wheel where followers are swapped within the circle.This is an exciting fun dance to do and to watch. LATINO'S
Latino's club night every first Saturday of the month at "The Source Cafe" from 8.30 PM - 1.00 AM with a fun lesson and warm up at 9.00pm. Many thanks to Phil for doing a great lesson on our 1st Year Anniversary. I am sure everybody will agree it was the busiest we have ever been, what a great night. Thanks Phil!!
Also many thanks to all of you that dressed up for my birthday party, thank you so much for the presents and cards from you all, I had a great night and I was sober too !!!

6th July 2008 Culture Bazaar, Trinity School, Strand Road, Carlisle, from 11am - 6pm. A great FREE day out for all the family, with lots of diffrent workshops: Salsa, Belly Dancing, Bollywood, singing, drumming, paintballing, story telling and many more. For those of you that have already been on one of these with me I am sure you will let everyone know how fab they were!!
