Janette Waddell tutored a Salsa Dance Workshop for the Well Project Monday 7th November. 35 Ladies attended, all thoroughly enjoyed the workshop, which was handled very professionally by Janette. She created a relaxed atmosphere, took time to demonstrate the moves and dance with each participant. Most were pleasantly surprised at how quickly they picked up the basic steps and by changing partners regularly they got to know the other dancers, which helped them to relax and enjoy the evening. Participant evaluations were very positive; in fact suggestions for future activities mostly mentioned more Salsa!

As a non dancer and community worker, I was very impressed by the quality of the tuition, patience and obvious enthusiasm that Janette displayed during this one woman show, at the WELL project. Everyone got individual help and managed to do the basic dance steps by the end of the session. This boosted confidence and made everyone proud of their efforts. I was so impressed that when my area manager was looking for a workshop for an achievement day in February this year, I did not hesitate to recommend Janette. The day was a tremendous success and the feedback we received afterwards indicated that the Salsa class was one of the most successful and popular workshops there. Janette treated everyone with respect and kindness and good fun was had by all. The people I have spoken to have been very pleased with the service that Janette has provided for them.

As you know John and I thoroughly loved the private lessons we had with you. On a one-to-one basis you can really come on, well you know how reluctant John was in the early days!!! I still get a kick from seeing him laughing and dancing and we both love to attend your salsa Nights! Thanks For the lesson, I don’t know why it’s so fabulously good, but it is and I love it!! It was really good having you teach everyone and mixing up your more experienced folk with the beginners, that way the beginners learn super fast. The Salsa workshop at the WELL Conference quickly booked up, with 24taking part on the day. Some were beginners and others had attended a Salsa Class before but all thoroughly enjoyed the workshop! Janette & Jane first demonstrated the dance then participants got started. To say it's a fun way to exercise would be an understatement - the laughs could be heard down the corridor in the next workshop! Everyone really enjoyed the workshop, all participants rated it 5 out of 5, and many said it was the highlight of the day for them, many thanks to Janette for another excellent workshop!
